New CD Project for Robert Hazard ( writer of "Girls Just Want To Have Fun") with T-Bone Wolk ( Hall & Oates; Carley Simon .....etc.) Producing & Alan Stockwell driving the Pro Tools rig.

The Old Guard- Gary Burke, (Joe Jackson, Robert Hazard, Bob Dylan) ; T-Bone Wolk (everyone) & Billy Shaw (no one but studio owner)

Recording with Alan engineering were the Grace Sisters with Pete Sutherland (one of our most frequent producers and nicest guys, he has done Chanterelle, Wild Asparagus and dozen others).

The Ice Age Ice Girls here appearing live at NRBQ's wild weekend II. The girls Maddi & Julianna were in Soundesign covering one of the Q's songs, "If I Don't Have You" Look for their new CD at www.NRBQ.com

Terry Adams (band leader NRBQ) brings his sense of humor along with his great sense of music to a production of the popular rock a billy band from Japan called the HOT SHOTS with Chia translating for the band and Billy Shaw engineering & translating for Terry.

This month was the 2nd showing on the A&E network of "Breakfast with the Arts" of NRBQ - THE MUSIC BUISINESS' BEST KEPT SECRET . Much of this was shot at Soundesign where the last 4 NRBQ's CDs were recorded and mixed by Billy.

Soundesign Recording Studio in Brattleboro, Vermont continues to work with NRBQ on ongoing Fox TV project," The PITTS", produced by Mike & Julie Scully (producers of the Simpsons). Tony Vacca (percussionist extraordinary) is back in working with Alan Stockwell at the wheel. Pat O'Connell coming off a tour opening for NRBQ starts his 2nd CD project at Soundesign with Billy Shaw engineering. T - Bone Wolk (Hall & Oates , Carley Simon & Saturday Night Live Band) starts new project this month with engineering by Alan, Billy & Derek. Also back in for their 4th Cd project at Soundesign the accapella group the Dartmouth Subleties. Also showing up this month are the Holestein Association, Pro Lingua Associates and Ann - Marie Messbauer and Debbie Claire.

Things continue to be buzzing in Brattleboro. Thank goodness for more than 40 hours in our weeks.
